Hi! I’m Lucy, founder of Lucy Loves Design. I’m a surface pattern and printed textile designer.
I graduated from Loughborough University School of Art and Design with a First-Class Honours degree in Printed Textile Design. I love to draw, paint, collage and explore new ways of making patterns. My work is inspired by the natural world and always starts with hand drawn or painted motifs which I then develop into digitalised print concepts and technical repeats.
My design work is suitable for a range of applications including fashion, home furnishings, interior products, stationary and wallcoverings.
I love to learn. I recently graduated from Make it in Design modules 1-3, and when I’m not designing I like to pass on my love of learning by teaching Art & Design part time.
